Pretty gun, but if its for the wife, you should have got her a hot pink one,then you would not be tempted to play with the 4" pink one!

it had a little bit of custom work done from the previous owner but never shot

I traded him even up for my FN Five Seven, and my Five seven cost me $900 a few months ago and shot 500 rds with it.

I think that Kimber goes for a little over a $1000 so with the custom work he had done on it I am happy with the trade

That Kimber's pretty nice, especially with the rail.
I want/need a 1911 bad. I should of went with a 1911 before the USP.
I'm hunting for a Colt or Springfield Armory Loaded.

I thought newer Kimbers were garbage? And that the guy who ran Kimber went to Sig, thus their newer guns are garbage(plastic parts and whatnot)?
